Opening Night at the Inn at Harbor Shores
I’m so excited to share that my solo show “Thoughts on Water” opened tonight at The Inn at Harbor Shores.
After many months of painting, sealing, writing, thinking and printing - I’m relieved and excited to finally be able to share the collection with everyone.
I didn’t take as many photos as I had planned - but managed to get a few before the festivities began.
The show will be on display/available for purchase until September.

Coming Soon! Solo show 'Thoughts on Water' at the Inn at Harbor Shores
SO excited to share that I’ll be showing work here, at The Inn at Harbor Shores from June through September.
‘Thoughts on Water’ is all about the ways in which we experience the water, by being around it, traveling over it and submerging ourselves in it.
I spent the weekend out here making color studies, contour sketches and brainstorming for the show. I really enjoy making work on the western side of our state, the white sandy beaches and the endlessness of the lake are a constant inspiration.

Opening Night at Miss Kim
Today’s the day!
I’ve been planning, painting and prepping for this show since October and I’m so excited the the opening night at Miss Kim is finally here.

It was an amazing night. I was so grateful to be able to meet so many new people, talk with old friends and see my family surrounded by paintings that are very close to my heart.

I’m honored and excited to announce that a collection of my new work is up over at the Ann Arbor Art Center!
The paintings are part of a series exploring mark-making and motion. Informed by color studies made from local, natural forms and given movement by sketches of bones, flower contours, striations and patterns found in rocks.
Acrylic / pastel / graphite / watercolor on paper and canvas.
